Ted was born in Warrnambool, Victoria in 1933.

His mother brought his older brother and himself to Melbourne after the death of his father.

​

He then attended Grammar School for three years. After school, Ted worked in textiles for 24 years, it was his first job and he became a shift boss.

​

Art has always been Ted's passion and life. Ted is only really satisfied when creating a picture if his effort brings joy to others.

“I arrived in Euroa in 2005. When I was fortunate to secure a unit at Wintringham Housing. I lived in several units in the past, owning one in Coburg and another one in NSW.

 

When we live in units we cannot choose our neighbours, but with the wonderful support and caring, friendly attention the the Wintringham staff give – life is wonderful.”
