Morgan

I moved around a bit as a younger person. Lived in an orphanage for about 13 years and then went to live with my mother in St Kilda and it was a rude awakening having been brought up by nuns. I stayed there for three years and then moved in with my older sister, Anna.
After that, I tried to commit suicide which failed, and I found out I was pregnant and was overjoyed. I gave birth to my daughter, Robyn on Christmas Eve. My second daughter was born the day before Mother’s Day and my son was born on my sister’s 21st birthday.
I moved to the country for the kids' schooling as I thought country schooling was better. I was a single mum. My kids got taken off me for a lot of years because my friends dealt drugs. The years without my kids were really hard but we were reunited at my mother’s funeral, and they still love me and think of me as a great mum.
I was told that I had to move to Wintringham because it was too dangerous to live on my own, but I like Wintringham because I have company when I want it and time to be on my own. I can keep my independence and see my friends when I want to, but have the warmth of friendly staff and residents around me.
