I learnt how to sew as a small child, my mother was a dressmaker so I made lots of clothes growing up.

 

I got into handwork when my husband David got sick as it helped me escape for my own mental health, I have continued on with that ever since.

 

I join the weekly knitting/ sewing group at Delahey and have made some really great friends since moving in.

 

I am looking forward to holding a stall and making some special things for the Christmas market in our community later in the year.
